there are still a few leftover christmas lights up downtown. not red and green with garland, but the understated white lights in bushes and wrapped around trees.
my co-worker showed me a little secret tunnel the other day from the train stop so that i can walk underground/inside for 95% of my walk. i use that in the mornings, but i prefer to walk outside in the evenings. when i leave work, it's a perfect shade of dusk outside and the bright theater lights are shining with those tiny twinkle lights. makes me just a smidge happier every day.

I started today eating healthy again. I'm about two weeks behind everyone else, but that's okay. I sort of spun out of control starting about my birthday and didn't look back. So I'm ready to get back on track. I already feel better today. Is that in my head? Probably.
